Sam was a highly sought after goalkeeper at youth level spending 9 years with Everton FC where he was regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the country at his age. He would gain notoriety in the Merseyside area winning countless youth accolades and representing the area at schoolboy level. Sam suffered a severe leg break but managed to make a full recovery going on to play for Everton, Manchester United, Liverpool and Wrexham at youth level before making the decision to concentrate his efforts on a career in coaching. He has went on to amass a lot of coaching credentials and is cotinually working to improve his coaching qualifications. Still playing now at North West Counties level where he is one of the most sought after keepers in his division Sam thinks his time at Just4Keepers has been hugely successful in improving countless children’s goalkeeping ability and confidence. You would have to go a long way to find a better youth goalkeeper coach.
